The Cincinnati Open and cornerstone partner Fifth Third are launching 513 Serves, an initiative that will recognize individuals who make the Greater Cincinnati area a better place.
Beginning today, nominations will be accepted for individuals who serve the Cincinnati community through their efforts related to education, children, sports, wellness or financial literacy. Nominations can be submitted here.
Nine honorees will be recognized through the program with a VIP experience for one day of the 2024 Cincinnati Open (August 11-19). Additionally, a $5,300 donation will be made by the tournament on behalf of each honoree to the charity of their choosing.
“The Cincinnati Open and Fifth Third have been an integral part of the Cincinnati community for over 125 years and we are excited to celebrate individuals who serve our hometown,” said Bob Moran, President of Beemok Sports & Entertainment. “Our goal with 513 Serves is to highlight the importance of service and the various ways we can all make a difference in our community.”
The honorees will enjoy the Fifth Third 513 Seats, which are located courtside on Center Court, an exclusive facility tour and more. They will be recognized on-court during their visit and their chosen charity will be promoted within the stadium and on social platforms to encourage further donations.
“At Fifth Third, we pride ourselves on our community involvement. We are excited to join the Cincinnati Open to honor those who improve lives in our community,” said Tim Elsbrock, Fifth Third Cincinnati Region President. “Like the Cincinnati Open, we are proud to call Cincinnati home and embrace this opportunity to recognize those who make a difference in our area.”
Nominations will be accepted here now through April 12. A nominee must be a resident in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton or Warren counties in Ohio or Boone, Campbell or Kenton counties in Kentucky.
The nine 513 Serves honorees will be chosen by a selection committee and announced on 513 Day, May 13.
