The Cincinnati Open announced today that Jansen Dell has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Dell will oversee operations, manage staff, and lead strategic initiatives to support the continued growth and success of the iconic tournament.

Dell joined the Cincinnati Open two years ago as the Capital Project Director, where he’s spearheading the $260 million renovation of the tournament campus. In addition, during the tournament he managed all stadium production, introduced new strategies to enhance fan and player experience, and set ambitious benchmarks for the event’s future.

Prior to his time at the Cincinnati Open, Dell spent 18 years with the Cincinnati Reds, rising through various roles—from Design Coordinator to ultimately overseeing Creative & Brand Strategy. His extensive background in operations, brand management, and project leadership positions have prepared him well to guide the Cincinnati Open in its next phase of innovation.

His deep understanding of operations and his oversight of the most significant transformation in our 125-year history make him a natural fit.
