Cincinnati Open Sporting Club to Debut March 16 at Lindner Family Tennis Center
The Cincinnati Open Sporting Club will open to the public on Monday, March 16, introducing a year-round destination at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
The Sporting Club brings together racquet sports, golf, dining and event spaces as part of a $260 million campus transformation completed in 2025 with the City of Mason, Warren County and the State of Ohio. The reimagined campus was designed to serve as a year-round community asset beyond the annual Cincinnati Open.
“The Cincinnati Open Sporting Club was created as a place for people to come together and feel a true sense of community,” said Jansen Dell, COO of the Cincinnati Open. “From racquet sports and golf to dining and events, our focus is on providing a welcoming environment and a consistently high level of hospitality for everyone who walks through the doors.”
Located along the western edge of the Lindner Family Tennis Center, the Sporting Club is housed primarily in the new 56,000 square-foot Clubhouse and the 53,000 square-foot Indoor Tennis Center. It includes access to 31 outdoor tennis courts, six indoor tennis courts, six outdoor pickleball courts and two padel courts, the first in Ohio.
The Sporting Club offers tennis, pickleball and padel memberships, which include indoor and outdoor court reservations, venue access and special programming. Members and guests will have the opportunity to play on the same courts as the world’s top professional players.
Cincinnati Tennis Foundation will serve as the programming partner at the Cincinnati Open Sporting Club, with its team of pros providing opportunities for tennis, pickleball and padel.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to impacting lives through sports and education, Cincinnati Tennis Foundation will manage the Sporting Club’s Junior Academy, which creates opportunities for young athletes in Greater Cincinnati to excel on and off the court. Available to school-aged children, the Junior Academy features group and individual training sessions, access to the Sporting Club’s courts and facilities, mental and physical fitness support, college process guidance and team building experiences.
In addition to racquet sports, the Sporting Club will serve as the clubhouse and shop for the Grizzly Golf Course.
The Cincinnati Open Sporting Club restaurant will be open to the public for lunch and dinner beginning Monday, March 16. Led by Executive Chef Andrew Alcid, the upscale-casual restaurant features elevated American cuisine with a focus on simple, familiar dishes.
Various spaces within the Cincinnati Open Sporting Club will be available for public and private events. The full-service venue includes customized event setups, in-house catering, A/V and on-site support staff. The Sporting Club’s event spaces are available for meetings, parties, weddings, fundraisers and more by contacting events@cincytennis.com.
To celebrate the opening, the community is invited to attend a free Open House on Sunday, March 1 from 2-6 p.m. The event will feature tastings from the Sporting Club restaurant and catering menu, guided tours of the venue, access to the golf and tennis shops, on-court tennis, pickleball and padel activities, live music and more. Guests can also explore event spaces and membership offerings. A one-time offer of waived member initiation fees will be exclusively available for Open House attendees. Attendees will also have a chance to win a free year of membership. Guests should RSVP at cincyopensportingclub.com/openhouse to receive additional event details.
