Cincy Serves Nominations Open

Apr 7, 2025

The Cincinnati Open and cornerstone partner Fifth Third Bank will once again recognize individuals who have made a positive impact on the Greater Cincinnati community with the Cincy Serves initiative. The public is encouraged to nominate deserving individuals who put their communities before themselves and strive to make the Cincinnati region a Fifth Third better.

Nominations for the initiative, formerly known as 513 Serves, will be accepted today through May 2 for individuals who serve the Cincinnati community through their efforts related to education, children, sports, wellness or financial literacy.

Twelve Cincy Serves honorees will be chosen by a selection committee and announced on May 13, known locally as 513 Day. Each honoree will be hosted with a VIP experience for one day of the 2025 Cincinnati Open (August 5-18), including four courtside seats and an exclusive tour of the transformed tournament campus. Additionally, a $5,300 donation will be made on behalf of each honoree to the charity of their choosing.

In its inaugural year, the program recognized nine individuals ranging from a Girl Scout to a doctor. Meet the 2024 honorees in this video. Nominations for the 2025 Cincy Serves program can be submitted here. Nominees must reside in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton or Warren counties in Ohio or Boone, Campbell or Kenton counties in Kentucky.

“Our inaugural class of honorees was a phenomenal group of people who make Greater Cincinnati a better place to live, and we are pleased to celebrate 12 more individuals this year,” said Cincinnati Open Tournament Director Bob Moran. “Cincy Serves shines a light on deserving individuals and highlights the many ways anyone can make a difference in their community.”

“It comes as no surprise to me that there are so many incredible stories of people in our community helping each other,” said Tim Elsbrock, Fifth Third Cincinnati Region President. “The pride we have in Cincinnati and our eagerness to make a difference are what make this city truly special. We’re super proud to call Cincinnati our home! Last year’s honorees were inspiring, and we’re very excited to honor 12 more wonderful people this year. Their dedication and spirit continue to motivate us all.”
