After coming out on top in his match on Friday over Fabian Marozsan, Ben Shelton’s thrill was unmistakable as he signed the camera lens and moves on to the Cincinnati Open quarterfinals. Next up for him: Alexander Zverev. “These are the types of matches I look for,” he says with a smile.

“[In the match today] I was disciplined with all the things I wanted to take care of…and all the things that I practiced… Tactically I felt good….I kept it on a high level all the time.”

After her Friday win over Elina Svitolina, Aryna Sabalenka flashed her ever-present smile as she spoke to the crowd. The 2024 Australian Open champion is into the quarterfinals and next faces Liudmila Samsonova. No matter which WTA player wins the title on Monday, one thing’s for sure: this year, there will be a first-time Cincinnati Open women’s champion.
