The Western & Southern Open has announced five new partnerships to bolster its already strong lineup of partners ahead of the 2022 tournament, set to take place August 13-21. In total, more than 30 local, national and global brands will make up the tournament’s roster.

Western & Southern Financial Group returns for its 21st tournament as title sponsor of the top-tier ATP and WTA event, making it the longest-running active naming rights agreement for a North American professional tennis tournament. The partnership was renewed in late 2021.

Global brands continuing their partnership with the tournament include Porsche, Rolex, FILA, American Express, Emirates, Motorola, Tennis Point and IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Regional partners include TriHealth, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Medical Mutual, KeyBank, JobsOhio, Prasco, RDI, Cintas, Electric Events, Rookwood Pottery and Fort Washington Investment Advisors.

Food and beverage companies remain an important component of the tournament’s sponsorship portfolio, featuring The Coca-Cola Company and its electrolyte drink BODYARMOR, Anheuser-Busch and its brands Michelob Ultra and Nütrl, Veroni, Moet & Chandon, Kim Crawford and Maestro Dobel Tequila.

Local favorites such as MadTree Brewing, Skyline Chili and Northside Distilling Co. along with another dozen local restaurants will be featured as vendors around the grounds, introducing thousands of out-of-towners to Cincinnati traditions.

A full list of sponsors can be found here.

New this year, many of these sponsors will see increased visibility at the tournament with the implementation of digital LED backwalls on Center Court. Along with the previously used LED signage along the sidewalls, umpire’s chair and net judge box, it will create an immersive digital experience for 2022.

Two new brand activation areas will be featured at the event this year. The Top Deck, located on the Terrace level at Center Court, will include food and beverage offerings from Veroni, Maestro Dobel and MadTree Brewing. The Grand Courtyard, adjacent to the Grandstand Court, will feature new programming each day of the tournament including player interviews, games and lounge areas where fans can keep an eye on the action on two big screens.

The Western & Southern Open main draw player field features the world’s top-ranked 41 men and 39 women, including 11 past champions and 19 Grand Slam major winners. The tournament will be held Aug. 13-21, where first serve will take place at 10 a.m. on Aug. 13 for the qualifying tournament. The men’s and women’s singles finals will take place on Sunday, Aug. 21. The schedule is available here.

Individual daily tickets for all sessions are on sale now. Multi-day ticket packages are sold out. Information about available tickets can be found at wsopen.com/tickets.
