Cincinnati Open Releases 2026 Schedule

Nov 17, 2025

The Cincinnati Open announced today that the 2026 tournament will begin with qualifying rounds on August 11 and its singles finals will be played August 23, the event’s closing Sunday.

“We feel strongly that a Sunday final will deliver the best tournament experience.” said Tournament Director Bob Moran. “We appreciate the ATP and WTA Tours working with us to make this change, which will benefit our attendees, partners, players and global broadcast audience.”

Fans can begin planning for their 2026 Cincinnati Open experience now by registering for the ticket pre-sale here. Pre-sale registrants will receive 24-hour early access to purchase ticket packages in January and single session tickets in March.

In 2025, more than 27,000 people registered for the pre-sale, and ticket packages sold out in just three days. In total, the 2025 Cincinnati Open drew a record 285,571 fans.

Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jannik Sinner in this August’s men’s singles final, and Iga Swiatek won the women’s title over Jasmine Paolini. It was the second consecutive year the finals were played on a Monday.

Timing for the 2026 finals matches and the complete match schedule will be announced at a later date.

The Cincinnati Open was recently named ATP Masters 1000 Tournament of the Year following a $260 million campus transformation done in partnership with the City of Mason, Warren County and the State of Ohio. That project doubled the venue’s acreage, which allowed for the tournament to grow to 96-player singles fields. This marks the first time the tournament has received this global recognition.

A 1000-level tournament on both the ATP and WTA Tours, the Cincinnati Open is one of five events to host these top-tier men’s and women’s fields during the same week, joining Madrid, Rome, Miami and Indian Wells, Calif.

The Cincinnati Open is proudly supported by its cornerstone partners: Western & Southern Financial Group, Credit One Bank, Procter & Gamble, Great American Insurance Company, Fifth Third and Kroger.
