While we’re still reminiscing on the absolute blast that the 2024 Cincinnati Open was, we can’t help but look forward to all that 2025 will be.

1. More of the world’s best tennis players

In 2025, the men’s and women’s singles draws expand from 56- to 96-player fields.  Yeah, you read that right. We’ll have almost double the number of players on-site in 2025. It’s best you start budgeting for the extra-jumbo tennis ball you’ll have to get next year to fit all the player autographs.

2. More days of tennis

Because of the increased number of players and the bigger draws, we need more days of match play. In the past, the Cincinnati Open has been played over nine days, with qualifying matches taking place on the first day and a half of the tournament. In 2025, the tournament will be played across 14 days, from August 5-18. Qualifying matches will take place on Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 6 and both singles finals will be played on Monday, August 18. More tennis = more memories to be made.

3. More opportunities to be up-close and personal with your favorite tennis stars

In case you missed it, we’re investing $260 million into a complete site upgrade and expansion ahead of the 2025 tournament. As part of the 2025 campus transformation, 10 additional tennis courts are being added to the site of the Cincinnati Open. The entire campus is getting an upgrade and there will be more opportunities than ever to rub shoulders with your favs. Should we make a “Best Place for Selfies with Players” map?
